The Seahawks made it back home to Seattle after dropping a devastating loss to the Jaguars in Jacksonville.

Seattle lost a couple of starting linebackers Sunday afternoon when Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright left the game with injuries and were unable to return.

Wagner was the first to go, injuring his hamstring that has been nagging him for weeks.

“How he is? I don’t know that yet,” coach Pete Carroll said during his Monday morning radio show on 710 ESPN Seattle. “These guys are sleeping in this morning and we’ll get them later in the day. But that’s the first time Bobby has really had to come out of a game because of his hamstring.

“It’s been bothering him for a few weeks now, we’ll see what happens.”

Wagner’s absence was immediately noticed on the field, which the Jaguars capitalized on.

“First off, I can’t state how valuable he is to us,” Carroll explained. “That kind of response is hard to even fathom.”

Carroll is also still waiting for an update on Wright, who sustained a concussion Sunday afternoon.

“We’ll see – don’t know,” Carroll said. “He cleared up pretty good last night but we’re gonna wait and see through the week.”

Carroll speaks to reporters Monday afternoon and will likely have more information on the linebackers and others’ injuries in time for his press conference.
