The Seattle Seahawks could have linebackers Bobby Wagner and K. J. Wright both available this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

Wagner, who has been battling a hamstring injury the last month, made the start Week 15 vs. Jacksonville before exiting the game in the third quarter. Wright was inactive on Sunday, unable to clear the mandated concussion protocol program in time to face the Jaguars.

During his Monday morning radio show on 710 ESPN Seattle, coach Pete Carroll had initially reported Wright had cleared the program. He updated Wright’s status Monday afternoon.

“K.J. still has to clear everything, but he’s feeling recovered and it looks like he has a chance,” Carroll said. “By Wednesday, he should be in pretty good shape for practice, is what I’ve been told.”

Carroll also had some positive news on Wagner Monday afternoon.

“Bobby has come out of the game like he was a week ago,” Carroll explained. “So it didn’t hurt him at all to play, which we are very fortunate. So that means he’ll have a really good chance to play again.”

The Seahawks will need both linebackers healthy for this Sunday against the Cowboys when both teams will battle to keep their playoff hopes alive.
